Early evening scene on the sidewalk of a fancy avenue in a fancy City, facing toward oncoming traffic, including two royal blue City buses headed even further uptown; on certain nights, at least one of the buses on this route are detoured or have limited service; the bus closest to the scene, is making a stop on this block on its way north; the trees on this block are still barren of leaves but are showing green spring buds; at either side of the avenue are tall, yellow brick buildings - housing everything from places of worship and foreign consulates to rich people and gourmet restaurants; the sky in the distance is fading into a mixture of clouds and sun.

The comic ends with the businessman asking his shadow friend to try again in their staring contest game. The shadow agrees. In the background the girl asks the bus driver if they should tell the businessman that the shadow doesn't blink. The bus driver tells the girl that he'll figure it out. The rest of the page has a giant message saying Happy 1st Anniversary to the short comic named Bus Stop. The businessman and the shadow friend stare at one another. The room gets dark from their intense stare down until... the shadow puts at lit cupcake in front of the businessman. The businessman is surprised. and the shadow smiles happily. End of page 3 out of 5.

Nighttime scene on a sidewalk in a zesty City, facing an eclectic group of mixed-use buildings, all of which are local, independent small businesses in the community worthy of support; there is a taller, brick building with a sign reading "Security Guard Training" - this is a job in demand nowadays and it pays very well; they can get you started toward seizing The Bag; a cyclist, after parking their bike, walks down the sidewalk under the spotlights of a bodega and a pizza parlor called "Homeslice Two"; a person is entering the bodega, perhaps because they have falafel pita; the pizza joint, although not super-old, is a neighborhood favorite in a convenient location on the Ave and offers more than just great slices, but also terrific calzones and pasta; it's a must try!; the sky is thick with low clouds and fog and some have reported drizzle on this brisk and chilly night; there is a small amount of graffiti written on the building above the deli; this is right near a bus stop, according to a standing sign, so it is very convenient to get there and enjoy what these small businesses have to offer; maybe even train for a better job!
