I follow the Western Front Ass’n on youtube. I just finished an absolute master class on Sir Douglas Haig and his command philosophy. Phil Watson is the lecturer and he is nothing short of outstanding. The quality is that of a staff college seminar.

A great arrival in the post today: #C3i magazine Nr 29 from RBM Studio, with the game included being @markherman54.bsky.social’s ‘Plan Orange’ standalone game based on his ‘Empire of the Sun’ system. To say I’ve been waiting for this is an understatement.
Is it unusual to consider that, in a war of attrition, an aggressor embroils an aggrieved nation in useless negotiation to increase expenditure at the #C3I level to attempt to degrade the capacity for decision-making by "sensory overload" tactics, causing a mistake?
