Bannister Plate: Banbridge Academy 0 Campbell College 1 Final. We caught up with the Bannister Plate Final between Banbridge Academy and Campbell College at Havelock Park on Wednesday afternoon. It was a lively game from start to finish with both teams giving their all. The teams played a lively game. Both teams created chances in the first half but Campbell had the best opportunity with a penalty stroke only for it to be pushed over by Banbridge keeper Sam Whitson.

The teams battled out a tight first quarter though Campbell's keeper Thomas Costelloe was the busier of the two keepers. Inst finally got past Costelloe in the final minute with a well placed penalty corner from John Cunningham.

Burney Cup: Banbridge Academy 1 (2) Campbell College 1 (3) AR Semi Final We caught up with the the Burney Cup semi finals played at Havelock Park on Thursday afternoon. First up we had the match between Banbridge Academy and Campbell College which started in the sunshine. Banbridge pretty much dominated the first half with most of the action down the far end of the pitch around the Campbell goal. However the Campbell defence worked hard and keeper Thomas Costelloe was in top form and the first quarter ended scoreless.

Richardson Cup: Campbell College 3 Methodist College 2 Quarter Final It was a very early push back on Saturday morning for the Richardson Cup quarter final tie between Campbell College U15 and Methodist College U15. I took in the 1st 3 quarters of the game. Ollie Moutray opened the scoring for Campbell, with 1st of his brace of goals Campbell hit their straps early taking the lead after only 2 minutes, when Ollie Moutray stabbed home the ball from close range to put Campbell 1-0 up.

The game was played over 2 x 25 minute halves. Action from a conjested midfield After a slow start from both teams Campbell gradually gained the edge. By pinning Methody back they gained control of midfield but couldn’t turn their chances into goals.
