I think my favorite thing I ate at tonight’s @noaa fish fry was geoduck fritters. But the lionfish ceviche was very good too. And the rockfish. And the salmon. And the octopus. And the crab. And the catfish.

The talks at #CHOW2023 are a lot spicier (more provacative and more interesting) than I can recall.
They're always great, but in my experience they're usually more informational than fiery.
To me this is a most welcome development.
Watching @BrendaMallory46 speak at #CHOW2023 is an excellent reminder that the Biden administration has been, by far, the best ever US presidency for science, the environment, and ocean conservation issues.
There's always more to be done, but we can also celebrate wins.
