Text "Some demons are known to contain tetrodotoxin in which small amounts can kill a human. However, for other demons, this toxin is known to create a narcotic effect." Dante is rifling through a recently killed demon while Leon, impaled, is slumped against some rubble. He sits to pull out a spine, while Dante watches. Dante goes to pick up a profusely bleeding Leon who leans in closely, starting to feel the toxin's effects. Leon is finally picked up, and thoroughly loopy, happy, and poking Dante (who is amused) with the spine.

Ironically, the defense mechanism evolved to protect a creature, becomes the reason they are targeted.
