#CampusCarry is intended to stifle free discussion. But it will only succeed if faculty and students allow themselves to be intimidated.

#CampusCarry will make no one safer. It will stifle campus speech through fear. It is not about the Second Amend. at all but the First.

#CampusCarry does increase the risk of someone being shot in a classroom, but minimally. It increases the risk of self-censorship maximally.

#CampusCarry is idiotic. But faculty who fear they may inspire armed students to violence overestimate their power to inspire anything.
