Good morning all! We are at Day 3 of rain under Heavy Rain Watch in #Rodrigues, others would probably say it's just a peng of bad weather.However, for 2 hrs it was not clear whether to cancel the fair or to move just a few tables.Td #CareCo will move for a 3rd time.Let's hope for some 🌞anyway!

Still very windy here in #Rodrigues. Today a special Mother's Day Fair will start in Port Mathurin, so I am off soon as #CareCo will as usual participate.Here Mother's Day is celebrated always on the last Sunday in May.

On Monday our Special Learning Centre Gonzague Pierre Louis for disabled children, located on the site of #CareCo, got visited by #Rodrigues' Chief Commissioner Johnson Roussety on the occasion of the new school term.After the long holidays and quietness of over 2 months quite a welcome change...😊

Again a fair in Port Mathurin with #CareCo participating.I am shortly before leaving for it, so I keep it short.This time it is crammed with lots of stands.Yesterday we met quite some nice customers, also from Germany, France,Italy and South Africa.

Mr.Adolphi, Mrs.Damelia, and Mrs. Aurélie from Spoon Consulting together with our blind receptionist Rajesh during a small ceremony. About 60 backpacks, already filled with school materials, were donated, much to the delight of our staff.

Today some #CareCo news.In the context of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), #CareCo had most welcome visitors some days ago. #SpoonConsulting, an IT company based in 🇲🇺, France & Rodrigues, decided to sponsor us & our school this year by donating about 60 backpacks filled with school materials.
Ein Ausstellungsbienenkasten, damit unsere Kunden und interessierte Gruppen auch Bienen beobachten können. Zwei Jahre haben dort keine Bienen mehr gewohnt.Nun ist er wieder gefüllt.
Hier sieht man die Bienen.Es gibt 3 Rahmen.
Und hier, ziemlich mittig, ist die Königin, die Dame mit dem erwas längeren Körper.
Freitag und schon wenig Zeit. Nur soviel heute, seit Dienstag gibt es bei uns im Laden von #CareCo auch wieder Bienen zu beobachten.Das macht mich ziemlich froh!
