Britain needs to invest in itself now — before the 21st century leaves it behind Britain’s GDP grew by just 0.3 per cent between April and June, down from 0.7 per cent the previous quarter. We’re told this is “better than expected”. Really? Is that the best we can do — celebrate mediocrity?
