This situation in the #CentralAsianFlyway is reflected in the report by @stateofindiasbirds.in - most high priority sps were migrants: ducks & wadersv that were once very common.
Wonder about the situation of #passerines with very little data

A migratory shorebird that uses the #centralasianflyway was observed yesterday during the W3 winter bird survey at Bagmati (Chobhar) and Taudaha, Kathmandu.
Completed the first #centralasianflyway W3 survey in Bagmati/Taudaha. We monitor winter waterbird numbers for the winter months. We hope to roll it out across the southern part of the flyway starting next year.
Supported Bird Conservation Nepal to complete phase I of the W3 pilot survey in the #CentralAsianFlyway at Taudaha Lake and adjoining Bagmati River. Thank you to all the volunteers who joined at such short notice. 61 species!
Endangered Steppe Eagles and a Wallcreeper were the highlights.
The Great Crested Grebe, a winter visitor to Kathmandu has been attracting birders and bird photographers at Taudaha Lake, one of the few remaining wetlands for migratory waterfowl in the valley. #centralasianflyway
