The beautiful Venus DeCoco, born among the cars in an inner-city parking lot, was a feral kitten when she arrived. Indeed, when first placed in her temporary quarters, Ms. DeCoco delivered a solid bite to a finger with one long tooth neatly bouncing off of the bone. (The current bandage does not reflect that drama; the irritation so covered just is from washing the little crew's bowls.) Venus DeCoco's days as a wild cat are oh so last year. Now quite the lovey-dovey, she wants to be held all day.
