Alternate version of X-Men Evolution episode 12 The cauldron part 1 in which Magneto decides to create Asteroid M, a sanctuary located in the stratosphere. All the X-Men fight against the Brotherhood and Mystique, and only the winners will be granted a place in Magneto's sanctuary. Meanwhile, Scott Summers, aka Cyclops, learns that his brother Alex Masters is still alive and rushes off to find him. Scott and Alex don't yet know Magneto, who offers them a free place in his sanctuary. At the same time, Storm has to fight a brutal battle against Mystique, who has come to attack her at professor Xavier's institute in the hope that the shape-shifting mutant can earn her place in Magneto's sanctuary. Mystique wins after five minutes of fierce combat and, to ensure that Storm poses no further threat, she puts a power inhibiting necklace on her to render her as powerless as a human, after securely tying/gagging her, and locks her in a storage room in the mansion. When she woke up, Storm realized that she had been reduced to a state of total helplessness and, unfortunately, the inhibitor collar prevented her from contacting professor Xavier or Jean Grey telepathically to come and rescue her.
