I've seen some excitement over the #GreenwoodTarot reprint. Much as I would love to join in and sign up for the Kickstarter, I feel there's too much doubt around the wishes of the artist #ChescaPotter - she's certainly not given permission as those involved don't know where she is.

We're on a solid track for a campaign commencement date of 1st May and production design, print options and packaging are almost finalized for when the required funding has been raised and production can begin. The 8 of Cups, keyword 'Rebirth' from the Greenwood Tarot. Red and white liquids from two bowls and two horns flow into a cauldron containing bones and decorated with 8 spoked wheels, a sheela na gig and red and white Janus heads, one looking to the past and one to the future. From the cauldron, the red and white separates again into two tall vases and from them recombines into a bowl decorated with eyes. There are eight eight pointed stars decorating the card and at the top a bulls head.

The 8 of Cups from the #GreenwoodTarot by #ChescaPotter and #MarkRyan I've been looking at alchemical imagery in the Greenwood Tarot, and apart from the original Lovers and Balance/Temperance (both based on the Thoth cards), this seems the most obvious example. #tarot #tarotsky #alchemy
