We did coloring + crafts yesterday for our no school day. Origami tulips, flowers, pinwheels, a butterfly and a free-form creation! The butterflies were a fun "mystery" activity. They colored white squares of cardstock then we ran it throughout the machine. #childrenslibrarian #kidscrafts #origami

Yesterday at #storytime we read *Sign Off* by Steven Savage (which I love) and the kids could make signs afterwards. Sign making is pretty abstract for preschoolers but I think they had fun. I like the orange diamond stop sign! #library #childrenslibrarian #kidsart #kidlit #childrensbooks #booksky

At #storytime yesterday, I drew a simple house then had the kids suggest what to add. Then we went back to the #drawathon. One mom told me her daughter said: I'm going to draw my first house!
