After Boston installed lots of protected bike lanes, bicycle traffic in downtown areas is up more than 80 percent, and downtown car traffic is down by as much as 14 percent.

In fairness, WeGo simply doesn't have enough vehicles to provide expanded (peak) service, yet. But BNA could still commit to funding expanded WeGo bus service in the near future to supplement #ChooseHowYouMove funds. Not to mention moving the airport bus stop back to a more prominent location.

WeGo is expanding service with #ChooseHowYouMove. Last year, they passed 9 million riders, proving #LocalInvestments produce #LocalResults.
Today, we announced 11 foundation projects, the first of our Choose How You Move transportation improvement program. They allow us to build toward future progress over the 15 year build out of the program. #ChooseHowYouMove
Last year, we came together as a city to decide on a better future for moving around Nashville with #ChooseHowYouMove.
