A painting of a boy and girl, both white skinned, sitting sideways on a stone balustrade outdoors. The boy wears a military-looking outfit - black or dark blue jacket and trousers with red and gold trim. The girl's brown hair is up off her neck; she wears gold hoop earrings, a gold necklace and a white off-the-shoulder gown with a gauzy white overlayer. In her lap sits a green parrot with some blue, pink and yellow feathers. The boy's left hand reaches forward to sit on the girl's left shoulder.
