Giving every last benefit of every last doubt to Trump's avowed peacemaking goal—perhaps he thinks only a seeming rupture in the ranks will finesse #ChudoYudo into talks.

If public words (as meaningless to Trump as to all autocrats) fulcrum #ChudoYudo into peace talks, it's small price to pay, he believes—so long as allies are aware/on board/leak proof.

Let's agree Peace beats War. So Trump's unflagging #PutinKissyKissy aims to flatter/coddle/unwit Putin into advantageous (at least for his own/cronies' personal rare earth investments) "peace" terms.
