Interesting few days at #CIfA2024 in Chester - even managed to find some time to visit my Mum's old school, which sits on top of the unexcavated part of the Roman amphitheatre! Dee House, built in 1739 for a wealthy merchant, became a convent & school in 1854; it closed in 1976.
