University of Arizona research center spots elusive jaguar near U.S.-Mexico border The University of Arizona Wild Cat Research and Conservation Center had not detected a jaguar in the state for a year and a half. But that dry spell has now ended.

Four different jaguars have been detected by Wild Cat Research and Conservation Center cameras in nearly 15 years.
