A new friend, possibly a student or faculty member at London South Bank Uni, as I met him very much in uni territory. So very brave, he stood maybe a meter away, while I chatted with him for a couple of minutes. Isn't he lovely!

Tiny runt of a litter of fox cubs I watched one evening. It approached me so close that the camera wouldn't focus.

This dog fox was involved in a fight and suffered severe facial injuries. This shot was taken after recovery. Lost the sight in his left eye but was otherwise fine.

A very young fox cub I watched exploring the riverbank on a sunny evening along the Water of Leith. Curious about the world beyond it's den but not straying too far from it. The river runs for about 20 miles right through the city from the Pentland Hills down to the sea at the port of Leith. A green corridor for wildlife including badgers, foxes, roe deer and otters.
