In 1832, Jacob Green MD was the FIRST to illustrate and describe a fossil from #NovaScotia - Asaphus crypturus, a giant Devonian trilobite from #MooseRiver at #Clementsport. Green also made plaster reference casts shared with museums around the world. He obtained the fossi from Francis Alger.
