The long-forgotten terror-dynamiting campaign in Cleveland from 1907 to 1912.

The International Association of Bridge and Structural Iron Workers (IW) was formed in 1896. The union remained weak and much of the industry remained unorganized until 1902.

The massive Pickands Mather & Co. iron ore docks in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1902.

They existed along the south shore of the Old Channel of the Cuyahoga River. That's along what is now River Rd., between Division Ave. and Mulberry St. (Orange on the modern map.)

November 13, 1967 - Carl Stokes becomes the first Black mayor of a major American city. He is also Cleveland's first Black mayor.

He was elected on November 7.

Built for Trinity Evangelical Church from 1905 to 1906. Uncertain design by M.E. Harpster. Sold in 1919 to Beth Hamidrash Hagodol Beth Israel. Enlarged building sold to Greater Abyssinia Baptist Church in June 1946.
