I just finished watching the final student presentations in my Climate Justice Leadership course, and I need to brag and maybe nudge some folks to make sure your institution is offering this type of learning experience to your students (and faculty, staff, exec leadership). In 8-weeks, my students went from saying they "didn't know much about climate change" to completing polished, insightful, engaging policy analyses and presentations on a climate justice issue of their choosing. This was fully online asynch. 8 weeks y'all. 8 weeks. #HigherEd: we can turn #ClimateChange around. I know we can. It's not rocket science. It's not even that heavy of a lift. Support teachers and students in teaching and learning about climate change, climate justice, and climate action. We can turn this around.

My Climate Justice Leadership students did a great job of exploring En-ROADS this week, discovering how no one policy or intervention alone will address rising global temps, but that strategic, collaborative approaches are necessary. This is a great, free, interactive tool that would fit well into a variety of disciplines, and most importantly, my students gave it high marks. hashtag#HigherEd hashtag#FacDev hashtag#ClimateAction
