#CoastCoat

Working on the #coastcoat and it’s almost done — just need to adjust these crazy long sleeves! I like how they look cuffed so I might keep a bit of length.

I made a blanket coat to test the #CoastCoat pattern I’ve been eyeing as a potential way to repurpose a fraying heirloom quilt. Used a (low quality) $2 thrifted blanket, and the pockets immediately split at the bottom seam. Instead of redoing, I saw an opportunity for #visiblemending #DHmakes
