Will of Doom 1 was a good epilogue to One World Under Doom and I’m enjoying the current Amazing Spider-Man run.

Wonder Woman 4-6 but that’s just to start the day. I’m hungover from partying at Roast until 3am so I’m staying on the sofa and binging this awesome comic. Issue 5 is one of the best comics I’ve ever read.

Legion of Superheroes 293 and it’s the big villain reveal of The Great Darkness saga. He made a planet in the shape of his head which is great, stupid villain stuff. But I’m still struggling with the sheer volume of similar looking characters.

I’m trying to get in to Legion of Superheroes in the build up to The Great Darkness Saga and there’s just too many damn characters. I can’t connect to any of them and the plots are all over the place.

My @xplainthexmen.bsky.social read-along has taken a detour in to some random X-Men What If…? Issues and I loved this comic as it was coming out back in the 90s. It taught me the history of the Marvel Universe and twisted it in interesting ways.
They’re also terrible comics.

Yup, we’re doing Origin (2001) as part of the @xplainthexmen.bsky.social read-along. It’s been a while since i last read it and the Kubert artwork is really gorgeous but I don’t remember loving it.

Transmetropolitan 57-60. I binged the entire series in four days and finished the final issue with a giant smile on my face as Spider gets in his one last Fuck You to the world. Joyous and timely and I get that you have to separate the art from the artist but I had a great time.

I don’t think I’ve ever read a more timely and relevant comic than Transmetropolitan 32 which was published in April 2000. Literally gave me chills reading this in 2026.

Just lying on the sofa binging Transmetropolitan which is great and still relevant and @darickr.bsky.social just kills it on the artwork throughout. Consistently beautiful, detailed and appropriately disgusting. He’s also a great follow on here.
