Every year my common milkweed thrives - but it won’t attract any monarchs 🤔😔 Any suggestions on what I can do to help monarchs find this plant for their larvae?🐛🐛

I keep looking under the leaves of the Common Milkweed for Monarch eggs. Nothing today but a Lady Beetle larva and an insect egg of some sort but I'm 95% sure it isn't a Monarch egg. Any idea what it might belong to?

100% Agree. Been trying to grow a patch of #CommonMilkWeed in a sunny dry meadow part of my yard. I spend more time dealing with aphids, soot mold, fauna eating the plants, modest blooms and ZERO monarch caterpillars. Meanwhile the lone wolves growing randomly in the shade are thriving.
