Here [again] are my recommended yield calculations for experimental planning / funding:
MinION - 5 Gb / run
Flongle - 200 Mb / run
PromethION - 50 Gb / run
If you plan experiments (or ask for funding) expecting that yield, you should get good results.

To be fair, their run crashed (which is a software problem that should be fixed by ONT), but they seemed more concerned about non-software issues.

I don’t know the source of this, nor do I know how they measure “educated”, but I do know, we need to communicate, inform better. Get into all the communities. Have discussions. Town halls. Now. Cause it takes time to build this.
