Monroe board approves two major sponsorships: CG Schmidt scoreboard and Thompson family press box naming The Monroe School District board approved a $50,000 CG Schmidt sponsorship (about $35,000 for a video scoreboard and ~$15,000 for trade scholarships over three years) and a $50,000 Thompson family sponsorship to name the high-school press box. Both donations were recommended by administration and approved by voice vote.
