Mom passed down this 1974 version for me to read to my boys. The author excluded both the arranged marriage scenes and the "meet cute" dance in the forest, so she is a complete stranger. Kept the book as a joke, and as evidence against making America like this again. #NotConsent #CompelledToKiss
