Some good conservation news:
A $60 million purchase of 8,000 ac along the edge of the Okefenokee Swamp has put an end to a proposed mine. The Conservation Fund (TCF) announced its purchase from Twin Pines Minerals along the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge (NWR).

Now we wait to see if SpaceX violations lead to administrative or criminal citations.In the past it’s been handled under the radar by FWS LE.
I guess we are about to see if Musk still has favored status.

Trump reneged on >$1 billion promised to tribes for renewable energy & salmon recovery. He halted an initiative to restore salmon runs in the Columbia and Snake rivers.

Specifically, there is info on how to spend Land and Water Conservation Funds. The proposal is to use funds historically used for land acquisition for maintenance needs.
