Bagpuss and his gang (consisting of Professor Yaffle,Gabriel the toad,madeleine the ragdoll and the six mice of the marvelous mechanical mouse organ) are standing outside the shop called "bagpuss and co". The first tagline is loose reference to the opening credits of the series and the 1994 film Thumbelina serves as inspiration: "once upon a time,Long ago,Emily had a shop.What makes the shop unusual is that it never sold anything. Every item in there was a thing someone lost and Emily found, bringing them to her cat named..." Below the first tagline are the following words: "A smallfilms feature in association with Threewise entertainment" The film's (imaginary) logo is seen. Below the film's title is a second tagline. Jurassic park was described as "An adventure 65 million years in the making" while Disney's 62nd film Wish was described "a story a century in the making". Bagpuss is therefore described as "a heartfelt story 53 years in the making". Below at last is the release year which was "waking up 2027"
