Named after the female sea nymphs from Greek mythology who often accompany Poseidon. They could be friendly and helpful to sailors.

This piece is yet to be fired and glazed.

A porcelain hemispherical sculpture, held in a hand. The body of the piece is textured white, with large rosette-like craters, comprising of a fringe of lime and turquoise, an interior ring of orange and a central pale blue daisy. There are other small marks around these craters in yellow, orange, turquoise and dark purple. Seaweed like spring green fronds grow form the central mass, to the left and right of the piece.

Another of the coral moons. This one is JANUS, a moon of Saturn. I like discovering new ways of combining forms, marks, textures and colours, so each piece is completely individual.

A hemispherical ceramic object, seen from above on an outstretched hand. The sculpture has the appearance of an alien sea urchin, with short radiating white spikes in rows. The main body is sky blue with a sponge-like texture comprised of many small dips. Right in the centre, surrounded by a circle of short white spikes, or bumps, is a double row of lines, arranged like cartwheel spokes.

Anyone else have trouble titling their work? I’ve taken to naming similar shaped pieces together from a list. My hemispherical wall pieces are all named after natural satellites in the solar system.
