"The fact is that the MoJ court records are in a complete mess. The only way to make sense of them – bar whipping out the scissors and the pritt stick as I used to do – is to compile all the different lists into a computer software which is capable of searching through them, i.e. Courtsdesk. But MoJ reckons that innovation is a breach of data protection, so here we are. "I think everyone in the media industry would share my complete lack of confidence in HMCTS's ability to produce their own workable version of what Courtsdesk had created. We can only hope."
