The chest is white with few brown speckles. The rest of her body is brown. There are tamarisk green leaves and branches all around the owl.

A barn owl rests on a large branch that cuts the frame vertically as our perspective is from far below. S/he seems to have her eyes closed and we see her in profile. Speckles cover the back of the head and down the shoulders. Otherwise, the owl is colored white and rich browns with a few black accents and widely-spaced barring on the tail. The surroundings are large woody branches and thin green evergreen needles.
