Last year 2024, I've heard the news and rumors about Toys for Bob, the game developers of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure (2011), Skylanders: Giants (2012), Skylanders: Trap Team (2014), Skylanders: Imaninators (2016), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (2018), Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time (2020), and Crash Team Rumble (2023) became an independent studio and partnered up with Microsoft/ Xbox to work on Toys for Bob's new game project which my guess is has to be new Spyro the Dragon game: Spyro 4 in the development. And I've also heard news and rumors about Beenox, the game developers of Skylanders: Swap Force (2013), Skylanders: Trap TeaTeam (2014), Skylanders: Super Chargers (2015), and CTR: Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (2019) is just showed a leak concept art of new CTR game: CTR 2: Crash Team Racing 2 with a Twitter/ X bander which I believe it works in the development. It's a huge news. But here's my thoughts and predictions. First, I believe Microsoft/ Activision's Spyro 4 from Toys for Bob will be announced at The Game Awards by next month: December 11th in this year or maybe at Summer Game Fest by June in next year 2026, and then Spyro 4 will be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S by next fall in next year 2026,... and then finally, Microsoft/ Activision's CTR 2: Crash Team Racing 2 will be announced at The Game Awards by next year December 2026 for Crash Bandicoot's 30th anniversary, and then CTR 2 will be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in another year like Summer 2027.
