Boston
Critical Mass
SAFE STREETS CANNOT WAIT
Copley
Meet 6:30
Ride 7:00
Why?
This directly impacts our community, there's been no material progress on bike projects in Boston in 2025, and the Globe reports this is Mayor Wu's doing.
But it doesn't just impact us. This impacts pedestrian and driver safety. It's impacting transit projects. It's risking federal and state funding, which could make it harder to get future funding.
What Now?
Talk to your city councilors, especially your At Large councilors. Talk to the Mayor.
Speak to your state reps. Risks to funding for the state and the MBTA impacts everyone outside of Boston too.
Follow advocacy orgs like the Boston Cyclists Union, talk to transit advocates, and keep asking the city for safer streets.
Boston #CriticalMass rides at 7 this evening from Copley Square, advocating for the City of Boston to move forward with its proposed road safety improvements after several reports that these projects have been back-burnered
