HPAI Confirmed in Sheboygan County The Wisconsin DATCP has identified a case of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI H5N1) in a commercial poultry flock in Sheboygan County.

8/8 While this case affects poultry, officials note H5N1 has affected mammals including dairy cattle in Texas. Wisconsin has not yet identified the virus in dairy herds but continues monitoring and testing.
