My biggest concerns are my work being fed into a slop machine, and I also don't want my designs to sit on a page surrounded by a mass of slop that people have prompted. At least with #Cults3D I know the platform well enough but I want to expand to other marketplaces.

Bit of a question for you all, has anyone ever used #Thangs for either buying or selling Designs. I've only ever used #Cults3D and I was wondering if it was any good. Mainly Cults3D allows you to opt your designs out of being used in AI, so I was wondering if Thangs has a similar policy? #3Ddesign

Picture of the finished Turbomotive locomotive. The chassis and tender are from a Triang Princess class locomotive, while the body shell is 3D printed. The loco is sitting on my layout.

A screenshot of my Princess Anne locomotive, rendered in Blender. This more conventional loco is what the Turbomotive was rebuilt into, after components of the steam turbine failed. The loco has alterations such as a raised running board with a lack of wheel splashers, coronation class cylinders instead of the turbines it had before, and a single funnel instead of the double one.

I wanted to give an update on the Turbomotive. The final prints are done and the parts are fitting nicely. It should just be the documentation to do, and then release on #Cults3D. Meanwhile, I'm working on retooling the design for the rebuilt Princess Anne. #modelrailway #3Ddesign #3Dprinted

Side shot of my finished fireless locomotive body shell. The shell is fitted to a Hornby 0-4-0 chassis. The livery is green with a red running board. Details like the bell, safety valve, refill pipe are all printed in black.

Another side shot of the fireless locomotive with more of the cab interior. A shot of the bulkhead controls is here as well as a reverser. There is also more detail of the back of the loco, with an exhaust pipe going up from the back to the roof of the cab.

The same angle as before, but with the cab removed to better display the inner controls of the cab. Including a handbrake.

I've just finished what I think is the last test prints on my fireless locomotive body shells, and I think they are looking nice! I just want to make a few adjustments to the fitting of the parts and then I think it will be ready for release on #Cults3D . #modelrailway #3Dprintable #Hornby

I'm not sure whether I will upload this motor bracket to #Cults3D or not. I've never tested it with it's original drive gear, so I'm hesitant in case it's unfit for purpose on another one of these locos. If there is enough demand for it, then I'll upload it.
