Summary: Lucanis Dellamorte is finally making his dreams come true: his own restaurant, his own team of kitchen staff to help him make it happen. The only problem is the family that won't let him leave. Notes: This is set in a modern, non-magical version of Thedas. I have always fully believed that Antiva was based on Italy, so that continues to persist in my head despite whatever proof there might be. Anyway, I saw a vision of Lucanis as head chef and it wouldn't let me go. Title inspired by a fairly obvious Billy Joel song. No idea how long this is going to be yet, but about 11k of it is written and... probably not too much left. I think. As ever, Rook is my elf boy, Callin de Riva, though he's not a mage in this.
