I just remember that I already rewrote the ritual scene to fit my Inky, the chargers and Anders in it (bear with me here xD) and stopped right when my Inky collapsed over Varric's body, sobbing: "You can't die. I told Hawke I'd take care of you" bc it got too depressing.

One thing that I actually really surprised me and that I have come to appreciate in Veilguard is the relationship portrayed between Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain. What we knew of Elgar and Ghilly was all either folk stories distorted from being passed down or Solas's opinion of them
