Alexandra Lorson! Before becoming assistant prof at the University of Groningen, she worked in the Making Numbers Meaningful project led by @bodowinter.bsky.social. Her research interests in experimental pragmatics focus on strategic communication.
The third plenary speaker at #dgkl2024 is @evfedorenko.bsky.social, who's coming all the way from MIT, where she is associate prof of neuroscience. Using a large variety of methods, she studies the way and the regions in which language is processed in the brain.
We're continuing our presentation of plenary speakers at #dgkl2024 with Osnabrück's very own Oliver Ehmer. He's full professor in Romance Linguistics and is currently investigating requests for action in interaction and language change in Spanish from a multimodal point of view. 💃🕺
This week we’ll be presenting the plenary speakers at #dgkl2024. We’re starting off with Bert Cappelle, associate prof of English Linguistics at the University of Lille. Adopting a usage-based approach, he has worked on various topics including locatives, modals and particle verbs. 💫
