The current population of the USA is 333.29 million. Over 100 million Americans were on federal assistance, just in 2019. The USA employs 2.87 million federal workers, that's every agency combined, and accounts for 1.9% of the USA's entire workforce. They keep this country moving and working. Your average federal worker also gets very basic pay. The "DOGE" has laid off over 30,000 federal workers in just over ONE MONTH and shows no intention of stopping, yet not one POLITICIAN has lost their job during this "cut of wasteful government spending". There are 435 Congresspeople and 100 Senators. Their pay is $174,000 a year, not counting "gifts". These fine folks who get rich while they don't do anything for us can be elected INDEFINITELY. Who was it that should be getting fired?
I've just been utterly disgusted today and had to make this for you all. I think we need to start firing politicians, ASAP.
