Ending the day with a question for any #DoctorWho fans out there

Does regeneration count as a resurrection?

I've 6 more days to indulge in fun, stress-free, film & #DoctorWho chat, before my Spurs loom back into my life, with yet another new manager, but still stuck with the same disfunctional squad & clueless board, + the task of winning 3 PL games from 7 when so far we haven't won any in 2026. πŸ™„ #COYS

If I've done my maths correctly, of #DoctorWho companions still with us, Anneke Wills now has the most missing episodes, 27, Peter Purves is on 25. So come on fate, find some from The Highlanders soon please, as I think Anneke has her most screen time in that + there's the lovely Hannah Gordon. πŸ˜€

In episode 6 of The Daleks' Master Plan, #DoctorWho and his companions escape from the Daleks by switching the Taranium core the Daleks demanded for a fake copy. So why is episode 6 called 'Coronas of the Sun' and episode 10 here (the only one with a shot like this) is called 'Escape Switch?'

5/4/26 #DoctorWho rewatch Revenge of the Cybermen Parts Two-Four / Terror of the Zygons Part One.
I've seen Revenge so many times in 43 years its not so much a story as a mood. The plot doesn't make sense in time and distance: under 15 minutes to reach the core? Love Zygons extra TARDIS scene in ep1

The all-silver faceless Pepsiman from (I'm guessing) a Japanese advertisement. He's standing and holding his right arm out in a "halt" motion.

The all-silver faceless Raston Warrior Robot from Doctor Who's 20th anniversary story "The Five Doctors". He (it?) has a little bit of a squat going on and his right arm is extended but not indicating halt.

Today I learned about Pepsiman (who had a Japanese Playstation game, no less) and, as impressive as that is, I think Pepsi just stole the Raston Warrior Robot from The Five Doctors! #DoctorWho #pepsi

Doctor Who and The Doritos Master Plan summarises Doctor Who and The Daleks' Master Plan as a baker's dozen of tidied tortilla chips, because why not? Mission to the Unknown is a 'quota quickie' - it makes up for a story from the previous season being cut down by an episode and quickly cobbles together elements to hand, which conveniently afford writer Terry Nation a pilot on the sly for a Dalek TV programme he wanted to get off the ground. The first four and last two episodes of the dozen are the core of the story, a six-part Dalek adventure that perhaps would have actually happened except, according to shannonsullivan.com, "The Controller of Programmes for BBC Television, Huw Wheldon, suggested that the Daleks' appearances in Doctor Who should be maximised. (Reputedly, this came upon the advice of his mother-in-law, whom Wheldon viewed as representative of the average viewer)." Episodes 5 and 6 stretch out the story's space chase by introducing a new companion for The Doctor, Sara Kingdom, and by conjuring up a fake version of the MacGuffin (the odd object everyone's chasing round after), in this case the cylinder of Taranium, power source of the Daleks' ultimate weapon: The Time Destructor. Then we get a Christmas episode... because it's Christmas, so why not? Then Dennis Spooner supplements Terry's scripts with three featuring his Meddling Monk character to fill out all twelve. The first one contains some New Year 1966 celebration... because it's New Year's Day, so why not? *Cronch*
