So lucky to be here in Hong Kong for the @dsbsoc.bsky.social #DSBS17. I appreciate the travel grants provided to me by @oceancensus.bsky.social and DSBD17 (via @deepstewardship.bsky.social ). Such a humbling experience!!
Had the privilege to interact with THE @drmtaylor.bsky.social at #dsbs17 🤩🤩
Prof Kerry Howell presented a brilliant talk #DSBS17 this week, sharing the development and biological validation of a global benthic habitat map. The map can be used to help inform the use of area based management tools and protect the #DeepSea in #ABNJ.
Excited to be at #DSBS17 this week in Hong Kong! If you’re here this week, I’m presenting tomorrow at 3:15 in LT B- come by to find out more about the distribution of a mesophotic and deep coral in the Red Sea 🌊🪸
