I grabbed Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends: Definitive Edition on the Switch. I can say goodbye to my social life for the next few weeks. Wait. What social life? There are few features from other Dynasty Warriors spinoff that I'm already missing. Like selecting other officers from Hyrule Warriors or Fire Emblem Warriors (and Three Hopes) to target enemy bases or defend other NPC. That was such a nice feature. You're sorta forced to fail some side missions in DW8XL:DE because there's no way you can do everything on your own. It does allow a second player though. At least that. But I'm mostly playing these games solo because that how I always played my Warriors games. I prefer playing these games if they have English dubs, otherwise I need to pause a lot while NPCs are saying stuff or take screenshots to make sure I haven't missed anything, like lore stuff or tasks to do. Thankfully, battle logs are easy to find in some of those games. I don't think I'll 100% DW8XL:DE though. That game is just too big. I've enjoyed the few hours I've put into it, so far.
