Overall, Visions of Four Heroes is an incredibly strong DLC expansion to an already strong, fully-featured game in #DWOrigins. With the DLC scaling to your level, it's guaranteed to be challenging even if you're fully set-up from the base game. Was a genuinely good time for the 30+ hours it added.

OK so I've been sick for awhile, but I did finish the #DWOrigins DLC. This'll be a thread of thoughts.
The DLC felt incredibly expensive while also really opening up the stories of the other rulers in their hypothetical stories. Sleeper hit was Yuan Shao's story exploring his family dynamic.

Sitting here a bit sick from the coldsnap in the area, so of course, I'm hunkered in with #DWOrigins. Yuan Shao's Story has been very intriguing in showing how your character can be a positive influence + digging into the Yuan Family drama with Shao as the base.

Rolled credits on Lu Bu's story now. So far, the most straight-forward of the Hypotheticals. You join Lu Bu's army and help him do the thing. The End. It fits Lu Bu, but it's also by far the most lacking from his end personally. Chen Gong's cunning in his efforts to steer Lu Bu is fun. #DWOrigins

It feels amazing to have Lu Bu be the beast you know him as, but on your side, especially in his story's final battle. He's just uncorking Musou after Musou like nothing while his theme is playing, and I'm not having to duck for cover. It's great. #DWOrigins

Oh Chen Gong wants ALL of the smoke now hold up! He called out Yuan Shu, Liu Bei, Cao Cao, *AND* Sun Ce, and Lu Bu's like "Hm. Yes." Lu Bu said he's entering #1 in the Royal Rumble and is winning the damn thing. #DWOrigins

Lu Bu's Story path starts predictable/simple enough (Diaochan asks for your aid first at Li Jue/Guo Si, and then Chen Gong asks for aid at Xiapi), but Chen Gong wanting to go after Yuan Shu afterwards is a nice wrinkle. Lets him actively be a strategist for Lu Bu for once. #DWOrigins

Dong Zhuo's Story was a blast. They don't do much in the way of making you want to agree with him, but they *did* do what they could to make you understand his mindset, where he's coming from, and how he views the world. That's about as good as you could get with him. #DWOrigins

Dong Zhuo going over Liang Province being a "brutal wasteland" now has me veeery intrigued. These games never cover Liang Province's uprisings from the era, so using that to paint Zhuo's perspective is actually kinda neat. #DWOrigins
