Click click! Ah. The familiar sound of a 12 gauge shotgun being waved in his face. Certainly not the first time, and if past was prologue, wouldn't be the last time he heard that in this town neither. “You got five seconds to git of my property or tell me why you're here, Lawman, ‘fore I send you back in a coffee can.” Anyone else would have tucked tail and ran, but his curious lack of fear made Data the officer of choice for these sorts of house calls. “Easy there, Mrs. Yar, I am not here to cause a fuss.” His hands were up in supplication, showing his holster with his service piece curiously missing. She held the barrel steady to center mass. “Miss, you son of a bitch.” “Yes, Miss Yar, my apologies. I am new in town, and wanted to get to know the folks I would be livin’ with.” She wrinkled her nose. “Then why you come to the house dressed like a lawman?”
