A neighborhood quilt painted on the wall of Lamond-Riggs Library in Washington, D.C. that contains a portrait of my paternal grandparents. (Lower left square obstructed by the stair railing.)
Lamond-Riggs: The library I've used most because it's walking distance from my grandparents' house and the Metro. Years ago, the city commissioned a quilt painting to represent longtime residents an installed it in the library. First time I've been here to visit since they've been gone. #DCorNothing
