And green technology too, just not necessarily for electricity. Mechanical power transmission is 90% efficient, eg water to move fabric mills, wind to pump water, bicycles (of course!). Sun to heat water, solar ovens... Simpler lives with richer relationships

#degrowth you say? i say we had enough of that. i am all in for growth of biodiversity, natural habitat, soil quality, fish stocks, wild bees. growth of reciprocity, community, resilience, public health and happiness.

A gentle reminder that electricity is only about 20% of our primary energy use. The other 80% (transport, mining, farming, construction, medicines, IT...) is only possible thanks to fossil fuels.

Sometimes I feel like I am left behind of this fast-paced world.

Waking up late. Not doing much besides working 7 hours a day from home. Not going out to see the newly opened restaurants and shops.
