I reread #TheRats by #JamesHerbert.
The all time classic #animalhorror novel still holds up. Fast paced, tense, nihilistic as fuck, ridiculously gory, and most of all - fun. Yes, it's better than the #DeadlyEyes movie. No, it's not better than the sequel.
Impossible to rate/10.
I saw #DeadlyEyes, 1982.
This widely mocked and disrespected adaptation of the #JamesHerbert classic wasn't really that bad, but it needed more killer rats action. A little too slow. But when the "dachshunds dressed in rat suits" did appear - B movie schlock greatness. More of them, please.
