Arran Thomas: Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counsellor (he/him)
Arran offers a brief overview of Deaf culture, history, British Sign Language (BSL), and recent advancements in auditory technology. He then explores key themes in therapeutic work with Deaf and hard-of-hearing clients, including the suppression of painful or ‘unacceptable’ emotions, the impact of family dynamics on attachment and autonomy, and common lived experiences such as exhaustion, anxiety, and ongoing barriers to inclusion.
